Maria is married and has two children, works with Attorney Carl Bush
as office receptionist, and has as excellent language skills – fluent
in both Spanish and English. Likely, Maria will be the first person
with whom you speak if you contact or come by the law office. Her
responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, scheduling client appointments,
coordinating
immigration hearings, and administering office practices such as
document
filling, FedEx shipping, and interpretation service.

Susan Williams, Paralegal
Susan and her husband have a daughter
and two sons. Susan graduated with honors from Northside High School
in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 2000. Currently, Susan is working toward
her
Bachelor of Science degree. She has worked for Attorney Carl Bush for
more than six years. In Carl’s criminal practice, Susan completes
first draft court pleadings. She also manages the discovery process
and aides Carl in jury trial preparation. In Carl’s immigration
practice,
Susan assembles visa application packets. Additionally, Susan
conducts the legal research, development, and first draft production
of inadmissibility waivers and immigration court briefs, as well as
the production of appeal briefs before the Board of Immigration
Appeals.

Amanda Bush, Case Manager
Amanda is one of Attorney Carl Bush’s case managers and has excellent
language skills. Amanda is fluent is both English and Spanish. Her
responsibilities
include initial intake interview assessments, document procurement in
support of claims for affirmative benefits and defensive relief,
frequent
trips to court and detention centers for the purpose of providing
translation
services, and packet assembly for benefit claims and relief in
connection
with the Office of Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the
Executive
Office for Immigration Review, respectively. |

Phillip Martinez, Case
Manager
Phillip is Carl’s newest
case manager and has excellent language skills. He is fluent is both
English and Spanish. Phillip has previous federal experience with the
U.S Department of Interior as an investigative agent. Currently,
Phillip’s responsibilities include initial intake interview assessments,
document support functions, and paraprofessional functions relating
to detention centers and state court proceedings for Attorney Carl Bush.

Fatima Torres, Case Manager
Fatima has two children and has been
with Attorney Carl Bush for over two years. Fatima is one of Carl’s
case managers and has excellent language skills. She is fluent is both
English and Spanish. Fatima’s responsibilities include initial intake
interview assessments, document procurement in support of claims for
affirmative benefits and defensive relief, frequent trips to court and
detention centers for the purpose of translation services, and
document
assembly in connection with the Office of Citizenship and Immigration
Services, and the Executive Office for Immigration Review,
respectively.

Jeffery
D. Parker, Portfolio Manager
Jeff and his wife, Sheila,
have three boys – Chris, JD and Clay. Jeff has been associated with
the Carl Bush Law Office for approximately 5 years. With a Bachelor
of Science degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and
continuing legal education from the University of Texas School of Law,
as well as the Federal Bar Association’s Annual Immigration Seminar
hosted by the University of Memphis School of Law, Jeff assists Attorney
Carl Bush in the areas of research and case planning strategies for
clients from numerous countries on four continents.
